Revd. Malcolm After 23 years teaching geography in 3 secondary schools
I felt the call to ministry. However God's promptings probably began during my Sunday School days in the Church youth group and during my time as a Church Warden and Reader in the Church. I was ordained in Liverpool Cathedral in 1982 and served my curacy in St. Helens whilst continuing to teach at a Church of England girls' school in Liverpool. In 1987, I returned to my island home taking up the post of vicar of Marown and St. Luke's, Baldwin, then moving on to St. Peter's Onchan in 2004 and in 2010 moving to Kirk Michael to live and serve in Kirk Michael and St. John's Churches. The Lord's work is never done. He still calls me to minister in my retirement, accompanying people on their journey to and with Jesus. |
