Thy Kingdom Come
(Click here for videos and web site)
13th-23rd May
Created to help all come closer to Christ and pray for others during the 10 days of Thy Kingdom Come.
Over the past few years, in the ten days between Ascension Day and Pentecost,
The Church of England has an initiative called ‘Thy Kingdom come.’
At the heart of Thy Kingdom Come is the commitment to pray for evangelisation, to pray for others to come to know Christ. This year as well, there are resources designed to refresh, encourage and inspire our worshipping communities, families and individuals who may have struggled during Lockdown with worshipping at home.
‘Thy Kingdom Come’ have given us copies of a Prayer Journal for everyone, to help us as we pray over the 10 days. There are prayer cards for everyone to take home and name 5 people they want to pray for during the time, that they will experience the presence of God in their lives. There are some leather cords too for people to use to help them in prayer, to put a knot for each person they name.
